Clayton has served as Executive Director/CEO since 2009. He also manages Pittsburgh Community Housing. In both roles, Clayton provides strategic leadership, coordinates development, and manages organizational outcomes.
Clayton’s favorite thing about the Stewart Center is the enduring relationships he’s enjoyed over the years with neighbors, students, staff, and volunteers. In his free time Clayton enjoys reading, following Auburn sports, and spending time with his family.
Ashley Hicks DobberkeChief Operating Officer
Ashley first came to the Stewart Center as a middle school volunteer in 2005. Since that time she has served in many roles, including Program Director and now Chief Operating Officer. In her current role, Ashley oversees program design, implementation and evaluation. She also manages the administrative and operational functions of the organization.
When Ashley is not at the Stewart Center, she enjoys reading, trying new restaurants, and traveling with her husband, Tom.
Tahpenes SharpChildren's Programming Coordinator
Tahp started serving as an After School Leader in 2017. Now, as Children’s Programming Coordinator, her key responsibilities include developing curriculum, managing program staff, as well as overseeing day-to-day operations for education programs. Her daily intention is to make sure every scholar leaves the program feeling seen, heard, and loved.
When she is not at the Stewart Center, she enjoys yoga, dancing, and binge-watching Grace and Frankie.
Jonathan JohnsonStudio Education Coordinator
Jonathan started working at the Stewart Center in the fall of 2017 as Theatre Studio Educator. In his current role, he works closely with the After School Program team to coordinate meaningful Studios for elementary school students. Additionally, he leads the youth program by implementing a leadership development curriculum for middle and high school students.
Jonathan enjoys creating online content, writing, and spending time with his family.
Lindsey HugginsFamily & Community Coordinator
Lindsey joined the Stewart Center in 2018 after working for economic, racial, and social justice with several other organizations. In her current role, she manages family wellness and enrichment programs, coordinates volunteers, and promotes community health and engagement.
When she is not serving at the Stewart Center, Lindsey enjoys DIY projects, spending time with friends exploring Atlanta, and traveling.
Chandra MannsOperations Coordinator
Chandra was introduced to the Stewart Center in 2016 when her children enrolled in the After School Program. Before joining the staff, Chandra served as a volunteer and board member and is currently a PCH Resident. As Operations Coordinator, Chandra assists with financial management, oversees HR procedures, and coordinates with Pittsburgh Community Housing residents.
In her free time, Chandra enjoys spending time with family, reading, writing, listening to music, and baking.
