The Trauma Recovery Network (TRN) is an opportunity for resident volunteers to collaborate, coordinate, and communicate ways to support individuals and the community after a tragic event has occurred, especially acts of violence. TRN team members are required to live in the NPU-V area. Interested volunteers must attend one training session. Lunch provided.

NPU University: The Legislative Process

This course will help students to identify, analyze, and follow legislation at the various stages in the City of Atlanta legislative process. This course will provide an in-depth, detailed understanding of legislative procedure and strategy for individuals who may not be familiar with the basics of the Atlanta City Council and the legislative process.

This course offers participants an overview of Work Source Atlanta and the programs available to employers and career seekers. Designed for individual job seekers and community leaders who are interested in creating and implementing strategies to increase employment in distressed neighborhoods, the course will explore high demand occupations and industries, and discuss educational and career
