Stewart Center Strategic Plan 2015 – 2030
The Stewart Center will direct all of its resources in partnership with residents of the Pittsburgh neighborhood of Atlanta in order to bring about Community Transformation.
This initiative includes after school programs, reading initiative, STEM program and educational Summer Camp programs.
The Wellness program is aimed at Community Cooperatives, which includes providing food security, dignity and community. It is done in partnership with Atlanta Community Food Bank. The other component of this program is Counseling in partnership with Care and Counseling Center of Georgia to provide mental health services to children, teens and families.
The Housing program aims to purchase and rehab houses in Pittsburgh to rent out to Stewart Center families.
The goal is to support the launch of local community businesses and generate employment opportunities for community members. This is an ongoing program linked to all our other programs.
